Some of my favorite AppleScripts:

Add Birthdays to iCal: Adds to iCal a yearly event (with a reminder alarm) for each birthday available in your Address Book. In order to install this script, you have to place it in the Library > Address Book Plug-Ins folder. The next time you start your Address Book, a command Add Birthdays to iCal will appear its script menu. You can also add a scheduled task in iCal to refresh the birthday alarms regularly. Save Attachments: This script is meant for Apple's Mail application. You can configure a rule to processing incoming messages and save the messages attachments to a chosen folder. Your Dropbox folder for example... More details in this blog post.
